Olivia Glebbeek & Evelien Krijl
Fall 2006
Glebbeek and Krijl went looking for a universal language. This lead them to laughter, which prompted them to organize ‘laughing meditation’ workshops in which patients, nurses and villagers could participate jointly. In addition, they became fascinated by the lessons in social skills at the various departments. Eventually they printed ten basic recipes for ‘contact’ on T-shirts. Throughout their stay communication was both a tool and an objective.
